I know many people who are like this unfortunately.
Most of my friends at least make an effort to make some decisions on their own.

Meanwhile, I think Brave New World is a great book.

After that, maybe McDonald's jingle, cars which are not cars, and anyone who thinks saying "sheeple" is aloof.

I'm not getting that "teenagers think intelligent people oppress them" thing.  I've never met a teenager, myself included at the time, who didn't think they were the smartest person who had ever walked the Earth, and they were in fact being oppressed down to the standards of dumb people.
