Hellboy 2 wasnt bad, but Hellboy 1 was better imho.

Besides, HB2 left unexplained what was of agent Myers, or whatever his name was. He seemed pretty major in HB1.

And, TBH: Swordfighting Nazi Cyborg Ninja > Swordfighting Elf Prince. ANY TIME.

Both HellBoy movies are awesome, despite the plot device that took away the secondary main character from the first film (what the heck was up with that?)

The comics are badass too; there's a spinoff series with a main character named Lobster Johnston. 'Nuff Said.

I'm not sure if i've even seen the second one, it might have been so generic that it melded in with the mess of movies i've seen over my life. Not a bad one though, from what i remember.

I only have seen HellBoy 2.  It rocked.  So I'm guessing HellBoy 1 will rock some more.

Disliked portions Hellboy 2, mostly for how incompetent the "Secret Agency" place came off looking to me. (Yes, that's right. We've lost contact with everyone in the building to some deadly, paranormal... thing. Looks like a job for red shirts equipped with only flashlights and pistols!)

Then again, I the fight scenes were badass and I ended up really liking the German ectoplasm-guy. So at the very least I came away happy.

Just watched it.  I have ti say that I don't really think it "flowed" all that well...  It had some nice segments, but overall it just wasn't that impressive.  I believe I enjoyed HB1 more.

And Cthulhu, HB1 had more elder things than HB2.  And there they were actually far more "star god"-like than the nature god thingy in HB2.
