3D rotation of a vector and an angle. Avoids something(I think it was called gimbal lock, though probably spelled diffrently) that the euler system of 3 angles has where in certain configurations rotating one axis cannot produce certain motions. I don't know some of the finer details of them, but I understand the vague concept of each. And that most 3D uses quaternations.

I wanna do some design work.  It's really fun, and I'm a little better than just okay  at it.

Yeah, that's a machinegun on Diakron's ship. And the other one is a torpedo, which is the point of the entire vessel. :)

Tested those ships,I have to say I'm actually a bit impressed. Just don't let that over-inflate that ego of yours. ;)

You really need to explore different ship values,HP,speed,acceleration,and modification of individual weapons,you can do some pretty neat stuff. I'll make a download of some of the interesting weapons I've made.

Only took me a little bit of time to get used to it.
After scaling the immense cliff that is DF's learning curve, it was a cakewalk.

Here's those weapon tests I made,all the ships have nigh invulnerability so you can watch the pretty guns.
