Alright, time for blood! You follow the trade route to the first small, shady looking asteroid you see.

[MAKING ENCOUNTER]

You have arrived at Ed's Space Diner. It's a quiet hour, and no ships are parked on the runway. You reflect that this is where you bought that accursed grape soda (which in spite of your draining attempts, remains as a sticky stain on some delicate and expensive circuitry). Be advised that the two platforms stationed nearby are mounted with Gluon Bolters- area denial swarmer missiles. The Mauler's flack guns may be able to intercept most of the fire, if you stay behind it.

That seems to be what you agreed on- this is just a small asteroid outpost, a distance away from T-VI.

Of course, if you suddenly decide you want to chat instead of shoot, post that instead of your battle strategy.

Still... think,gluon bolters,one would be nice on our duckling.Plus a few machine guns wouldn't be too shabby.

It's a space station- you can expect people to come to its defense, of course.
Or OOC, of course I programmed more for you to fight than a diner (although I did enjoy drawing the runway graphic).

Gluon Bolters are bad news. If I'm thinking of the correct weapon, they have long range, a wide spread, and fire tons of missiles. I don't think the Mauler can adequately cover us from two stations worth of fire. Let's go find something a little less likely to kill us all.

I'd like two cat burgers, an order of curley fries, and a Space Ace. To go, please.

Meanwhile, inside the diner.

Waitress: And what can I get you gentlemen? Today we've got the Beef 'n' Noodles special, or the Full-Loaded Soup.

Captain Arkham: I'll take the soup. The boy'll have a balogna sandwich, hold the mayo. Oh, and cut the crusts please, he hates crusts.
Kong: Special.
Hayley and Phil: Soup
Garey Busey: Four croutons and a leaf of spinach.
Wil Wheaton: ...
*Arkham smacks him*
Arkham: Goddammit Wil, tell her your fucking order!
Wil Wheaton: Soup, dammit, soup! Just don't hit me again!

Waitress: All right then, I'll be right back with your orders.

*Suddenly, across the diner, a man clutches his chest in agony. Onlookers are horrified to see a slimy alien burst from the man's chest.*

Welshy: Faith and begorrah! What the hell did he order!?

Waitress #2: Oh, he had the special.

Arkham: Jesus!

Sensei orders a Pan Galactic Garble Blaster, and leaves. You've finished your +Cat Burger+s and -Cat Tallow Roast-s, and head back to your ships.

Before you can leave, however, a ship enters your sensors at extremely fast sublight speeds. It's a racing model- fast, but poorly armored.
"Hey! This territory belongs to Redd's gang! I'm gonna teach yous no-good startups what happens when you mess with Redd!"

Sensei orders you to battle stations.
