As for CJ's ship... if I save that in notepad as a .SHP, will it work?
.sb4, BSF uses .shp files, shipmaker uses .sb4.

This means Boksi has to save the .sb4, you can't use what he gave in the shipmaker.

Or you could right click on the link and click "save as".

But that wouldn't let you edit it, so yeah. Hold on a sec...

Save link as... is what you want. I kept forgetting that.  I'm a doofus.

You are going to want to reset the animation speeds on that gas puff, and desynchronize them so that they all occur at different times.  Because the 4-stroke look is cool.

Of all my knowledge of shipmaker, I still don't know how to de-sync the animations on doodads...

That ship was the first time I've ever used a doodad, actually. I don't use them for the Geimher. I'm just happy it works at all, unlike the Hermit Crab which only semi-works.

SET START INDEX: 0.

If you set it to something else, it starts at a different frame.  NOTE: It has to be decimal. For example, setting 4 of them, in sequence, to 0, .25, .5, and .75 will get you this sick animation.

I think that the picture is a single dot...

I think that the file is in text because your browser doesn't recognise the format, a save_as and put it with other files with the same extension should be you first port of call if you trust the source...

I just printscreen, mate... never had a problem with that, and it makes cropping convenient too.

I made the  'four stroke' effect work fine, but (before and after applying that) I get THIS problem-

What's up with that?

Those lines. Obviously some sort of trigger or something.

I'm seeing the same problem. My best guess is bad parenting.

It is definitely bad parenting. I'm not sure how he does what he is doing with the recoil absorbers for the gun, but that thing has way too long of a reload time, and no damage. At all.  I have found that turrets with 0 fire arc don't work so well.

Um... I'm rather sure you cannot assign triggers directly to doodads,orange lines are driver links(turret sections) red ones are weapon links.
