The battle erupts! Both fleets are already crippled by asteroids. In a fit of nervousness, the unarmed kamikaze bombers seem unwilling to do their job. Diakron is a core shortly, and Sensei promises to fix his ship and change his AI type...
CJ scores a kill!
I've got to work on a better technique for getting screenshots. There's what appears to be an empty video folder in the BFE directory, anyone know how to capture video?
Damage: Take a look for yerself! It's bad. In fact, with the funds gained, we may or may not be able to repair completely from this sort of damage in the next battle.
Loot:
From the field- rock is useless to you, even broken into manageable pieces. You had best leave this dump before more comes to be a problem. I guess if you could stockpile it, you might be able to make some sort of crafts, but hauling it would just be a waste of time.
There's some metal on the enemy ships. Good stuff, but not much of it. However, you do acquire two Beamers.
From the mystery ship- There are plenty of banners, documents, and insignias that say that this ship is property of the Imperial Navy. it's not clear exactly
who that is, or what none of them are on the ship, save a few stiff who didn't make it to the escape pod bays (which have decompressed). Sadly, there is nothing to indicate who your new enemies were.
But there is an upside- mounted on the ship is a very mildly damaged Sniper Cannon. I personally suggest that Diakron get it (along with a whole new boat) but you're free to decide through bickering and squabbling back at ESD over some Sunshine if you rather.
