I seem to have about 540 turtles left over, so I buy 3 levels of armor user skill for 400 turtles.

Why do we use turtles for currency?

Why do we use turtles for currency?

It's a graphics joke.

= Currency used in the game (you can see it on the trading post screen and the status screen)
= Sprite for turtle

Oh, cuz I played a non-serious RP server on a game called Garrys Mod, and everyone used a turtle model for currency.

Apparently shotguns go for six turtles.

DwarfH, a lightly armored and extremely skilled axedwarf:

Who is deadliest?

Okay, first fight of the Nerf Tournament.    Two fighters with very similar equipment setups, even down to their random attribute points.  Thanks to our simulation system, designed by Bay12Games, we can finally see who is truly deadliest.

I'm considering it.  The strict tournament bracket led to a lot of unique fighters going out last tournament.

Additionally, I'm thinking about adding a loser's bracket for the lulz.

Tacken stabbed DwarfH through the face.  I wanted to use it as the fight video, but the whole fight prior to that was pretty one-sided.

The only death by shield bashing was the suffocation, strangely enough.

Methinks weapon damage ought to be upped a bit. While armor now has value, having a battleaxe bounce off unprotected flesh is a bit silly.

It probably broke his neck, then. ;D
