Alright, you actually overpaid for your swordsman skill.  It's $1000 for level 4, so you have $100 left.

Also, you're going to be fighting two tournaments from now.

Can I hop in?

Dorf name: Ungol the Ugly.

Skills: Level 4 macedwarf. (1000£)

Equipment: Iron mace. (300£)

I'd prefer if this dwarf is completely naked or wearing only a loincloth.
Balance: 200.

Tactics: Covers self in mud and warpaint before battle, then charges angrily at enemy, relying on brute animal strength to frighten the enemy into submission. Privately harbors ambitions to become a beard dresser or clothier.

You can.  Up until you actually start fighting, nothing is set in stone.

Also, shackleton, you're on the list.

When you are fighitng, you can sell things back for half price.  Skills cannot be sold back.

crash, you should probably lower the price of armor, because the only winning strategie is to have high skill, everything else is an afterthought

Armor isn't really all that expensive right now (especially compared to skills).  Furthermore, even in a tournament where armor is mostly useless, an armored fighter has made it to the finals.  I am, however, making it more effective in the next tournament, creating a greater need for protection.  If anything, I should increase the price of higher skills.

Done.
