How does this work? In the first post you said every round would be an battle royale(16 dwarves battle and one survive) but there you also said "the loser", but there would be 15 losers actually(you might've meant the first one to die?). And here you says "If any participants want to issue challenges to other players", which suggests on there being 1v1 fights(fights to the side of the main event?). I'm confused

Since you're not following a strict bracket system, i'd advise you to not pit the unencumbered people with bronze+ weapons against each other untill you are forced to. They are the ones likely to do well and i'd rather have Phoenix kill the true #2 in the finals.

So what happens to Phoenix after she wins? Everyone else go to the back of the waiting list, will she stay alive to kill the winner of the next tournament or something?

Okay, I finally figured out how to post from my Centro.  a few clarifications:

Challenges are to set up the initial bracket.  If there aren't any challenges, I'll place combatants by random selection.

The loser of each round of the tournament is dead.  I have no quarrels with your identical twin brother entering the next tournament, but he should keep in mind why you were killed.

The Champion shall be crowned "Deadliest Dwarf."  If the results show enough balance, later tournament winners shall be allowed to challenge you for the title.  If you are killed, you must start again, but your fight record will live on forever. 

Eventually, the gods may smile upon the souls of the champions so that they may do battle in an epic tournament of those who were formerly "Deadliest."
