are you going to finish the normal bracket before you start the loser bracket? or will you do them at the same time?

I'll probably run it parallel to the winner's bracket.

Lol.  Posting to keep track of this.  It's pretty awesome...

Once in a while (At least in the finals) you could post the pics of the battle...

As much as I enjoy doing that, school is not giving me the mandatory 2 - 3 hours that requires.  I'll probably do it for the semifinal matches and definitely do it for the final.

If you could run multiple fights simultaneously it would be a different story, but I think it would be better to not have a losers bracket so we're able to find out who is truly deadliest quicker.

I think a slight retooling of the script might allow me to do that.  I'd still have to plough through the raw data, but I'd at least have it.

Well, votes are cast anyway, it seems. As a winner, I'd want single elimination. But if I were to lose, I'd want double. So it's fine.

This is basically the conclusion I came to.

Everyone has waited a long time for his/her fight... that's why it seems so nasty to get eliminated after just one fight.  And who knows?  A dwarf who loses might improve more quickly than the winners, and win the tournament!

Ok. Now I'm confused. By double elimintation do you mean that the losers are back in the tourney? Or that we're running a winner - loser bracket?

Just a winner bracket and a loser bracket.  Anyone knocked out in the first round fights their way through the loser bracket to meet the winner of the winners bracket in the final.

Wow, I wasn't expecting to win. Spiffy. Alright, I will take +1 to shield skill, and +1 to wrestling. My skill with armor means I don't need to upgrade it just yet

Also, Kel, I'll add your changes when I get the chance.

And without warning, busy just turned into very busy.  I'm looking at a week or so for the next update (but maybe I'll find some time in there)
