Sorry, wasn't able to check the forums for a couple of days.

Ironically, and frustratingly, it was just a big mob of skeletal and zombie camals, no different from the sort that she had spent most of her career fighting, and only a moderately larger group than those she had occasionally soloed.

I saw them lurking near my fortress entrance, so sent out a squad consisting of my two champion hammerdwarves (Dastot, and Vucar Olinonshen Emaldustic Rur (Vucar Tongschant the Sensitive Bore of Running)), three "regular" hammerdwarves (Solon and two otheres that hadn't earned any extra names yet), and a newly-immigrated novice wrestler/swordsdwarf), and then went back to managing my fortress, expencing them to annihilate the undead with ease, just as they always did.

but them a shortly after I saw the dreaded purple messages flash up:
Dastot Kedthikut Sefol Stizash, Champion has been struck down.
Solon Lednakuth Eshomosresh Lorsith, Hammerdwarf has been struck down.

I went to look, and saw three two dead dwarves, four lives dwarves, and lots of bones and dead camals.


I guess it was just a case of very, very bad luck.


Oh, and guys,  please stop the quote pyramids.  Its just spam, and more importantly its not funny any more, and I'm surprised there isn't a rule against it.
