Elves are the inbred, sociopathic cousins of goblins, thrice removed that noone ever liked but still was nice to so they dont feel bad.

Elves do NOT have a [MAXXAGE:##:##] tag.
They DO live forever.
Until you, the smart player, slaughter them all.

So do goblins.

Goblins are immortal. Elves are immortal.

Why do dwarves get the short end of the stick?
If I recall correctly, Goblins live to be from 700 to 1000 years old.

I was talking about importing alimunim.
And we were hypothesising about the sexual relations between elves and trees.

yknow that gave me an awesome idea, make a civilization that has members that live for about 500 years, have them make massive civilizations and then die out due to not having a breeding tag

it'd make adventure mode fun, just to wander throughout these massive abandoned citadels

Just wondering if it would be possible (however unwise) to make demons a civilisation
I don't see any reason they couldn't be. What would happen if they breached the HFS?
Horrors! Annoying relatives in the deep!

I just made a race where the creatures only live to be 5-10 years old before dying.
(But they had 3-7 children at a time)
Sadly, they died out before worldgen ended.  It's odd because they won every war...
Must have stopped breeding. :/

They were probably hitting the population limit.

Only vaguely. Made of the same substance and put to the same use, but a bit like comparing a castle and a doublewide trailer.

I was kinda hoping everything would equal out and be just fine.  But I guess if I want to use (play as or deal with) them I'll have to stay in the first age.

EDIT:  Looking through the files, there have been quite a number of murders.  Time to make killing your own unacceptable.  Hahaha.

What probably happened is that a previous generation bred enough in a small enough time to hit the population cap; preventing them from breeding. A few years later they all aged and died out so quickly that they didn't have time to breed, thus becoming extincted.
