After hitting your 4th or 5th legendary there's nothing that will drop you short of brain smashing. Everything that used to insta-kill you now only causes a mortal wound (ok, not much difference) but gives you the chance to take one last person/city with you.

Chunky salsa rule

Critical existence failure also applies, apparently, since being bashed with a sock can cause your lower body to explode in gore.

I've started building up a small army of retirees. Humans can sign on with dorfs, right?

Pretty sure they can yeah.

Oh and explodes into gore is still chunky salsa. Crushed by the dwarven atom smasher is critical existance failure.

CRAZY WARNING ALERT

Make absolutely sure you don't retire warring civs together.

I retired a warring dwarf and elf in the same human town, making them citizens of the town.

But the underlying war made the dwarf kill the elf, which made the dwarf an enemy of the town, and the townsfolk zerg'd him, when he was killed, all of his attackers were made into enemies, resulting in the town gangfighting it's self into nothingness.


Fun time BTW.
