Was I unsuccessful in finding a pick? If so, I try again to buy a pick and head over to the ship.

oh, i mustve not heard you say that you wanted to buy one. I'll edit turn 2, it should say that you found a pick, but youll have to wait till turn 3 to get to the ship.

Alright, buy 10 rations, and then get to the ship.

By the way, I'm up to 1060UC after turn 2, right?

AT LEAST GIVE ME SOME TIME TO POST! I HAVE TO SLEEP, YOU KNOW!

I enter the shuttle and look around, trying to find the engine compartment so I can see how the engine works.

Little, please refrain from posting in exessive caps such as that, it's highly disruptive. Also, i gave you a day to post your turn, and you did not, i don't know anyone who sleeps for more then 24 hours, if you do, just tell me, if you think i'm being offensive, well, i'm not trying to be. It's just i can't have people in my RTD who don't post for a long time without telling me. I want you to read all of the rules of the OP, because when you were posting your skills, you did not choose a pistol/SMG/sniper skill. Alright guys, let's just wait for RAM and i can post on turn 3. BTW Lear, post before you leave so i can let in james.denholm until you get back, if he wants it. Otherwise i'll just GM you.

Yes, I know it's highly disruptive. That's the goddamn point, to get your attention so you don't skip ahead.  ::)

A day isn't a long time. Get some perspective.

TURN 3:LET'S GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD!
I go to our ship and familiarise myself with it.
After passing through the airlock you enter a large square room, a garage door kind of bay thing exists at the other end of the room, supposedly for hover craft and such to enter. To your right, a door to the engine, with pipes running everywhere, 2 main engines, the life support and fuel canisters, electricity storage, etc. to the left of the entrance-room is a open archway that has a ramp leading up to the bridge, at the front of the shuttle. Along said ramp, on the left side is a lounge. With food dispensers, water bottles, a medium-sized TV with about 5 movies and 2 couches fit for 3 each lining in front of it. Back at the ramp, parallel to the lounge room a door leads to the barracks. Each bed has a curtain set around it so as for some privacy, a moderate bathroom is set along the wall.

I deposit my 50UC at the back, grab my gear and head to the shuttle.
After dropping off your remaining UC at the bank, you go over your gear and enter the shuttle.
AT LEAST GIVE ME SOME TIME TO POST! I HAVE TO SLEEP, YOU KNOW!

I enter the shuttle and look around, trying to find the engine compartment so I can see how the engine works.
[2]After examining the 2 engines, you are unable to gleam any usefull information on how they work. Only that they are in a cube shape attached to the thrusters.
Alright, buy 10 rations, and then get to the ship.
By the way, I'm up to 1060UC after turn 2, right?
You buy some snacks[50UC deducted, 1010 remaining.] and enter the shuttle.
Was I unsuccessful in finding a pick? If so, I try again to buy a pick and head over to the ship.
Taking your new pick, you enter the shuttle to see your squad mingling about.

All of you:Are inside the shuttle.

I get behind the controls, request permission to leave and that the hangar door be opened, warm up the engines and shout to the rest of the crew "Hey! Are you lot ready to go yet?", in that order...

Why am I the only one able to pilot?

Oh, I think I have chosen my catch phrase: "Ramming speed!"
heh heh heh, those poor pools, RAM's character was just going to be an eccentric techy, but she ended up behind the wheel of a vehicle...

Heh, you're the only one able to because you've got the skill set of what i'd call an engineer, preferring pistols, able to use turrets on spaceships of course, crafting stuff like jets and what not, and having a knowledge of how things work. ^^

you dont have enough money to buy one, besides, you have a karbine, wich is a rifle/SMG, because the SMG skill classs is basically SMG's/Rifle's

Okay, in which that case I go see if there's anything that needs to be fixed/maintained.
