Little, it states, quite clearly, in the rules that you need to pick one of the following: Pistol, SMG, Sniper.

Considering there's alotta skills, you have to pick 2 weapon specialties[1 of them being Pistol/SMG/Sniper] and a option of 3 other skills.

And yes, explosives is under the "weapons" list so it should count as your second, just like my Vehicle Weaponry I does for me.  You also are only using 3 skills currently.  You have an upper limit of 5.  I suggest you use them all.

little, you need to take explosives II off, as you need to pick either pistol, SMG, or sniper skill as well. Remember that there is a limit of 5 skills, 2 of them have to be weapon skills and the other 3 are pretty much optional, though recommended. There's a minimum of 2 weapon skills picked, the other 3 you can spend on any of the skills that you have the prerequisites for. Ie. a grenadier picks SMG, Explosives I, Explosives II, Explosives III, vehicle weaponry I.

Well, this RTD is going to have nukes, possibly planetary explosions, or stellar novas, hardcore indeed.
