Every time a dwarf gets a mood and makes some masterful, expensive, but otherwise fairly useless piece of clothing... I think of that episode of Married with Children where Al has a vision of God and becomes obsessed with making the perfect shoes, the "shoes of God".

You've got to be a dwarf with a pretty pathetic life if the highest glory you can possibly conceive of is making one really awesome but impractical piece of clothing.

Then again, the rest of them have to be pretty pathetic if they elevate the maker of an obscenely unwieldy pair of underpants to such a revered status that they get everything for free even when others have to earn a living wage.

Oh god I love that episode of Married with Children.
