Since auditors can't die unless they're in living form or they speak in first person singular, they should probably be some sort of vermin.  Preferably with tags to prevent them from being fished or hunted, if at all possible.

And this is how tinned food was invented.
Alternately: The Brick Testament. It's a really fun look at what the bible would look like if interpreted literally. With Legos.
Just so I remember

If only we could restrict plants to certain soils.

Then we could have "disposed corpses" "floating" on the "Ankh".

That actually sounds weird now that I've typed it out.

This is a stack of 5 =disposed corpses Wine=.
Also, here's some disposed corpses seeds.

You don't want one of Dibblers famous pies? They're made from 100% pie! Well, 90%, er, at least half anyway.

In the name of devil's advocacy, I think elves fit the HFS better than the Things do. The Dungeon Dimensions are never portrayed as something you could mine your way into, whereas Lords and Ladies shows that there are most definitely underground entrances to Elfland. Elves are also shown as being sealed up by a rare and valuable metal (thunderbolt iron), unlike the Things, which generally only turn up when somebody's been Meddling In Things Man Was Not Meant to Know again.

Is it terrible that the first time I read that, it came up Guinea pig, instead of Genuine pig?

Dear god. Have I just found out the secret ingredient?

2nd, 3rd, 4th time... right up until you pointed it out now. And I am under the impression that people actually used to use guinea pigs as livestock, maybe still do...

Lets... not... try and find the exact ingredients of the "sausage inna bun".

Also, How many Dibblers do you people know? The only ones I can remember are CMOT and DMH

There's Fair Go from Fourecks, and when Rincewind ended up back in time in that ancient civilisation that wanted to sacrifice him (in Eric) there was a dibbler there too; swallow my own poison or something.

But if we don't know the ingredients how can we forge them?
