This is why you never cull anything from anywhere.

I once had a story of a woman who moved back and forth between hovels for 90 years before getting a nice house. She died the same year.

I also find that it allows worldgen to move faster as with cull on, it pauses at predetermined intervals, which slows it down overall.

Or it's like in "A man from nowhere", unknown creature. He/she was cursed to be forgotten by everyone.

Have you seen what a Cyclops armed with a rope reed sock can do? Those things are practically weapons of mass destruction.

No, marriages are always between the same species.  (for now)
No, more like always in the same civ, because there have been instances, especially notable with kings and consorts.
