An other interface suggestion. "u"nit screen
« on: August 22, 2006, 04:48:00 pm »

It would simply be very usefull if when you go back to that screen the selector where you had left easy. It would makes it easier to browse your dwarfs. Also, why using the primary selector on the screen (Up, Down), while most use secondary ? The greate use with secondary is that you can do page Up ,and page down. It is also a bit of twist of mind to remember that on this screen specifically, you need to use the up and down keys.

Having all cursor moving with primary selector,a nd all lists with secondary would be probably more conviniant...

I just found this out (thanks whoever mentioned it!), but on the secondary you can page up/down with the / and * keys.  That helps a bit.

I think I  like this idea of the sticky cursor in the units list, especially if there were a quick key to go to the top - like Home maybe.  It seems like a couple times of year, or after a lot of deaths, I am wanting to look at most/all of the survivors one by one and check/set their job stuff.  Anything that would help with this is a plus in my book.
