Something tells me this Fortress is doomed from the get go. But how could I resist embarking to "The Just Desert"?

At least you knew what was coming for you.

"The lovely Tundras" sounded like such a nice place until I found out that it's a freezing, treeless orkfilled hellhole.

I generated a world once where there was an island named "The Hill of Beans."

The wiki is notoriously inaccurate on subjects at the cutting edge, frequently reflecting passing memes, folklore, or the word on the street instead of true dwarven science.

My favorite location name thus far has probably been a river thoughtfully entitled "The Wastes of Oxen."

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

Carp are so hardcore, they swim in a river of ox urine.

I once embarked on a site that was located on The Hills of Murdering.

There was much murdering, as you could imagine.

That's a self picked name, not a randomly generated one.

I once saw a tundra or glacier called the Bearded Blizzard during worldgen.

Mountain ranges all too often are called the ____ fingers or the fingers of _____ . Which sometimes leads to some strange names.

Not neccesarily, the RNG occasionally throws you a curveball just to keep you on your toes.
