"Your" nice DOSBox games? Personally, I haven't made a single one. :)

However, I will use this opportunity to once more bring up a favorite 4X of mine, Remember Tomorrow. I'm still waiting for some modern game to improve on its design.

At this point the large majority of them are "free" in the sense of abandonware. Fallout 1 + 2 excluded. They are availible via 20 dollar game package and I believe work with current systems.

I use DOSBox to play Seasons of Sa-, er, Jagged Alliance. And X-Com 2. Yeah.

It's easy to just google Seasons of Sa and see what comes up, you know.

We all know what you played.

Well I find Master of Magic fun from time to time, and I'm pretty sure that's "free" considering that Microprose is dead.  YMMV, of course.  It's known to be buggy, so you'd want the latest 1.31 patch.  Daggerfall is fun sometimes, too, and that's officially released free by Bethesda.  But we already have a thread for that somewhere...

Microprose is dead ?!! Noooo! I loved Microprose (Am I like ten years too late or something?)
Anyway, yeah I love playing them oldies. I've never had any long games in MoM though. I usually play Dune 2 or C&C.

I am currently trying to learn how to make Dosbox work for games with multiple CDs and how to remove this odd slowdown when I turn it to full screen (Not that odd... even the smallest Screen in the house is like twice the size of classic computers)

I really enjoyed Privateer 1 and Street Rod 1.
Mega-lo-mania and Populous arent half bad either.

I always find myself going back to Darklands.  Blockout is a great one, too - 3d tetris from the 80s.

I'm partial to adventure games as well.  Monkey Island, Zak McKraken, King's Quest, Eric the Unready...  There's loads of DOS gems in that genre.
