Zonzim, a short dwarf story.

Based on true events! (No, really.)

Quote
Sodel stared up into cool, blue sky as she hiked up the mountainside.

She remembered as if it had happened yesterday, even though it was a few years ago.

Sodel's Mother, Litast, had been sent to quell the fire imps that had been acting up near the woodcutter's worksite. She had brung her newborn son with her, as all dwarven mothers did, to the supposed spot. Out of seemingly nowhere, a fire imp threw a fireball straight at Litast, as soon as they reached the magma pipe. She of course, went down very quickly, screaming and writing in pain. Another dwarf quickly ran up to the fire imp, and beat the living daylights out of him, but it was too late, he had already flung another fireball, at a second dwarf.

Panic insued, as the dwarves were carried away, back to the fortress lodge. However, Litast's new son was forgotten, and was left behind. He lay there, for a moment, watching the fire in the mountainside spread. Then he began to crawl. He pulled himself all the way back to the fortress, before being discovered again. It was fabled, when they found him, that he had two broken legs and one broken arm, and that he was completely singed, yet his beard remained.

Sodel, of course, knew these remarks to be true, being there herself, in the barracks lodge. They called it a miracle, that both the mother and son were able to survive such a blast. They told Sodel and her twin sister, Cog, must have been overjoyed by the news. Cog definitetly was, but Sodel remained.. Different, to the situation. Her brother, now nicknamed, 'Tough' Cogishen, grew up in pain, but he survived. As did Litast.

"We're here at last!" Remarked Litast, looking down over the large cliff. "What a drop, eh, girls? Come, come!"

Sodel and her mother had planned to climb up to the mountainside, overlooking the fortess. Sodel was glad to come with her, seeing as she could finally spend some time away from Cog, who was becoming increasingly annoying of late.

She also enjoyed the idea of being alone with her mother.

Litast looked out over the town, beckoning Sodel beside her. Sodel walked up next to her mother, and shoved her off..

In the corner of her eye, she noticed her sister had followed her up. She stood there, mouth agap, at what Sodel had done. Sodel pounced on her sister, tackling her to the ground. They wrestled for a little bit, using what knowledge their mother had taught them, Litast being a champion herself.

Sodel saw a lucky break in Cog's guard, and kicked her to the ground. Sodel quickly swung Cog off the cliff, overlooking the town..

Sodel looked off. No one else had seen her throw her two family members, right off, almost in the middle of town. She smiled. She enjoyed the slaughter. She ran down the mountainside, back into the lodge. She left, after a quick drink, to go play with her friends in the fields.

Written by me, if the quote thing confuses you.

SOMEGUYO HELPED I GUESS.  :P

True story, I can only blame either dwarven murder or glitches.

Zonzim is the name of the fortress.

Hehe, a short dwarf story...

No that was uniquely dwarven: both brutal and beautiful at the same time.

Or, wiping out Orc forts. It's harder than it sounds. And it sounds pretty hard.
