I don't mean to be a huge jerk, and I do play TF2 and I think a lot of these are pretty darn funny. However, I just wanted to mention something that came across my mind while reading this. Games that have achievements JUST to have achievements are mostly doing so to give uniqueness to a player where none exists. In dwarf fortress, your whole adventurer's life or the whole history of your dwarf fortress are extremely unique. You don't "gotta catch 'em all" you can enjoy the high level of uniqueness and tell epic, funny and sometimes emotional stories about it. That is one thing that I love about DF above so many other games. /end near derail

you certainly have a good point...but even dwarf fortress can have its dull moments. Not to mention it would, in theory, only add to it some more in a way that cant really hurt...not that it will happen but yeah...

These are pretty funny (though I wonder what the blank ones are) and I assume the ones relating to the Adventurers "love life" are for when you can get romances in Adventure Mode?

this ones for a mod but I think it works here anyways.

Gah, unless it shows up this time, how the hell do I put the image in,  it's being tempermental

Edit: And another if it shows up... just happened to me

that reminds me,  never heard of the "Age of Fairy Tales"

I think they are adventurer in fort mode related... getting a adventurer relationship to lover status(or even giving birth to a kid or two) would count as getting laid in dwarf fortress.

Retire your adventurer in a town then embark on that town in fortress mode.
Use runesmith to get the adventurer pregnant, if she's a girl. Usually involves turning the adventurer into a cat for for the actual sexyness, then back into a human before birth.

Try it with steel armour, picks (in the mod I am running) cut through armour like a hot chainsaw through flesh.

hmm.. armored and shielded dwarfs:

long sword vs pick

pick wins: 2 deaths, 1 mortal wounded

great axe vs pick

pick wins: 2 deaths

this is wierd, im going to repeat test and also with other armors.

EDIT: 2 of the pick dwarfs owned a dragon, age 257. im starting to believe you.
EDITEDIT: add a hydra to the list.
EDITEDITEDIT: these two died to a bronze colossus, but gave him 12 red wounds, 1 blue and 3 yellow wounds. wow.
