I wonder if that has any significance.  Oh, and I just noticed how odd it seems that PM has a black sword, despite apparently not being from the dark kingdomy place.

 We actually know little of the light kingdom. Assuming the Midnight Crew are members of the dark kingdom or at least on some way tied to it, we know a lot more about it than the light kingdom. And the future travelers consist of two dark kingdom people and a light kingdom person.
