Maybe the Blue Hat Imp is the leader of the attack on Johns house?

Do you think strider is a Half-Life 2 reference? Like how if a strider shows up the Rebel guys shout "STRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRR!"?
Fun fact: there are 31 Shale imps and 5 Crude ogres that are visible in that picture. And they are approaching very fast. It's almost another 413 bit but alas, it is simply 513.

Or it could be a Strider reference. Y'know, the arcade game with the cool ninja guy with sword of awesome.

I'm guessing...  No.

My assumption is that it's John attempting to text-yell at Dave.  Y'know, Dave Strider?

What the Hell are you two talking about?  Strider is Dave's last name.  He probably made some snide reference that wound up predicting these circumstances perfectly, like the clown-obsession or something.

Update.  Will edit this with reaction dude.

Alack! I'm "saving up" - not reading MSPA for a long time and then reading a bunch - so could you put it in spoiler tags if, I dunno, Rose turns out to be Voldemort or whatever?

Explore? Check volume 2.

Eh, where's that?

EDIT: Way, way, way too late. Oh well, I guess I'll ignore whatever this blue imp is and hope for the best.

It's kind of expected that in the MPSA thread we will discuss MSPA.

I wouldn't read this thread if you want to avoid spoilers about MSPA.  :P

Explore is in Volume 2.

Though it is not an exact match, have you played Hammerkind? It's a fan game, and it DOES have blue imps (They are much faster) and a diffrent alteration that is stronger.

Maybe some of the fangame is seeping back into the main game?

I could swear that negative-swapped Imp showed up before, back when the Imps really started tearing the house up.  I know I've seen him before, but the last time Andrew gave John much screen time was months ago.

Okay, good points. I'll try to forget this mysterious "blue imp" stuff then.
You know, it probably won't affect my reading experience much anyway, I was just overreacting a bit.
