I like this comic for the same reason I used to like runescape.
It's high rate of production.

OHGODS ARCHIVE BINGE
Gnash is insufficent for Dave's beatbox, but works on most of the serious ones. WV:ASCEND indeed.
Did Dave just call himself gay?

???

The new pesterchum he made talking to himself...

He just called himself a gay furry.
...pointing at GardenGnostic? You sure 'bout that? (Not that there's anything wrong with either ,see next comments)
The guitar makes up for it.
So, Jade's a furry.  Who saw that coming?

Guitar makes up for it.

I didn't say it was a bad thing.  The... altered... plushies and comics are off-putting though.
What's the internet without anthro.
Alright, it works like this:

John - Good Guy
Rose - Good Gal
Dave - Good Bro
Jade - Good Psychic Gal
John's Dad - Good Dad
Rose's Mom - Good Mom
Dave's Bro - Awesome Dude (I really hope he's a good guy  :-[)
Jade's Grandpa - Puppet!
Wayward Vagabond - Good Thing
Peregrine Mendicant - NO CLUE
...two more future characters are going to exist, at least. I wonder who. Re: chess pieces...Mayor sounds like a promoted pawn all right.

Oh dear.

It's a chess board.

...I can't wait until we see what becomes the pieces...

So that's what it is.
How could you miss it? (No, it's a draughts board! Clearly!)

...SAY. these cubes clearly provide power and suchnot to each target home, if I'm right.

Was anyone paying attention to which chess square the cube she took from was? I'm horrid at navigating this mess.
How many sburb beta copies were released? I think it said somewhere.

Was it 27,648?

That might be it.  Let me look into it.
Waiting....

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
[BRO IS ALWAYS BRO]
...Dave's bro isn't e'en contained by the spoiler box.
I can't believe he just made that shout-out.
What?
What's really awesome is that their hits are timed with the music.
...that would be true if I could get flash to work on this computer. It'd be nice if the musicks didn't break and then loop badly at end of Act 2. but wowzers.
I am now officially up to date with all of HomeSTRUCK.

That actually didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would either.

That was fast.  Months of work read in less than a day.
A few hours tops.
Homestruck.
BY A METEORITE GUYS
Pretty sweet.  I never expected John to be so skilled in using a pogo hammer he never used in his life.  With all that girst.......THINGS CAN BE MADE, LARGE THINGS.
He's, uh, been at this for some time. GAINING MELEE SKILLS or whate'er.

Another question- anyone got those musicks? ...well, I found the not-bad 16-bit remix one. That's the only one that seems to be up on creators' webspaces.

Who noticed that PS, AD, etc. were at the end of Midnight Crew? Oh, duh, end is same place as http://www.mspaintadventures.com/extras/ps000018.html

It was somewhere in Act 1, anyway.

 Jade is most definitely Air.

Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

Jade is most definitely Air.
John (Blue) would then be water, leaving fire and earth for Dave and Rose. I would say Dave-fire and Rose-earth.

But I honestly don't think it's gonna be that simple.

Here's my thoughts:

John - Wind; Shown by this.  I'm like 99% certain, it even says wind.
Rose - Water; Shown by this.  I'm like 99% certain, it even says rain.
Dave - Fire; Shown by this.  I'm like 99% certain, it even says hot.
Jade - Earth; Shown by [NOT_AVAIBLE_YET].  I'm like 99% certain, it even says [NOT_AVAILABLE_YET].

I agree on Dave since he is violent and "cool" looking, and tentatively on Rose, since she is adaptive. But I am very sure that John is Earth. Jade is Air; no guessing required. On the example for John, I don't think the elemental idea was being shown at that point. But if you want to include it, it also has the words; "streets", "cut reed", "pebble", and "well".

Yeah it's a toss-up.

But I say since Jade lives on an island she would be earth.

Yes, but none of those words are also part of a quote:

Yes, you are certain Walt Whitman said that. One hundred percent positive.

Don't those each describe something that the character explicitly does not enjoy?

*ducks in fear against Aqizzar's always-unhappy gaze*

Well, uh, just 'cause they don't like their element doesn't mean they don't have 'em.
