i can't even hear a similarity beyond the very most superficial (some arpeggios and a moderately fast tempo)

There are definitely more similarities than that. For over thing, the instrumentation isn't identical but it's very similar. They're not the same song, but I would be completely unsurprised if you told me they had the same composer. They're stylistically similar, presumably because of their purposes.

As for Sburb, it looks like one of those minecraft mod projects has more progress than last I checked, and might be more than just a graphics or item pack.

Oh wow, Overseer Project is really nifty.

It even has the Authentic SBURB experience of setting your specibus to something ridiculous for a laff and realising you're stuck with it and dont have any of it and are going to have to mash one together in alchemy.

Does anyone here use it, and if so would they be interested in starting a session?
