Why, thank you Derm, that diagram is exactly what I was looking for to make sense of this.

Damn, Hussie, that's one frightening time-loop you've got going on there. I imagine you'd need a Time Lord or something to keep that stable... ACK! Goddamn it, Hussie!

HUSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
HUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

So let me get this straight. Where did Lil' Cal come from in the FIRST place, BEFORE it became the vessel for 1/2Gamzee+Equieus+AR+Caliborn?

Because the one that falls onto earth for Caliborn to collect seems to be the same one that John eventually gives Strider on the meteor, which already has the 4 souls in it, which became LE in the other timeline.

Am I right? This is another circular causality thing?

I want to believe the most meta version possible: Li'l Cal's origin is that he was made by a fan and given to Hussie in response to his existence in the story resonating with Li'l Cal's appearance in their subconscious, and made his way into the story via Hussie self-insertion period, then yanked from there to Dave's dreams via Gamzee, where it proceeds on with the rest of the story.

But yes, as a Juju, I think it's required to be a circular causality thing.

That was absolutely beautiful.

Is it just me, or is there a lot of Davekat undertones here?
Probably just me.

Hussie knows it's the only reason we stick around.
I ship them pale (and massively polyamorous) but to each their own.
(Dave's true love is clearly Tavros (I'm not sure if I'm serious))

What a jaunty tune for a quick jaunt through Vriska Fixes All The Problems land.

As a writing style, it's pretty weird to just casually subvert the history of your story like this, but most of the grossness and bad feels that resulted from the pre-retcon timeline are getting swept up. Wonder if that was the intention all along?

In any case, happy to see people getting along and all that, and curious where the plot is going to go from here.

Hoah wait for a minute how did Vriska get into the Alpha universe's incipisphere before the meteor has even arrived? Or did she time-travel from the point when she arrived?

Vriska with Equius's head pointing at Dirk's kernel:
"So yeah you've got issues with your computer there, and I've got a dead troll here.  We could prototype the troll and your glasses, I bet they'd get along great and not be weird at all."

Man, the updates today. Everyone's happy! And (other)Vriska's alive (well, dead, but not retconned into nonexistence)! I think this update healed my soul.

Everything's going to go to hell in a handbasket in a minute. I feel it in my bones. Hussie is never this nice.
