As the day comes to a slow close, we see that the update was not today.

In technicality, the day hasn't ended yet, but it seems as each hour passes the chance of update decreases ten-fold.

This means we don't have another significant significant number day to predict the update on.

Maybe 10/25, or a little over a year of gigapause. The more I think about it the more likely it seems.

4/13 and 6/12 are established dates. We need a third data point to be able to establish if it's arithmatic, geometric, or otherwise, and so i'm going with arithmatic since it's fairly simple.

Actually, I'm thinking the date of the final update will be special because it is the date of the final update. 4/13 is special because its the date of Homestuck's relaunch, 6/12 is special because that's when Hivebent hapened and 10/25 is when Cascade hapened. So really, the end of the Gigapause will be significant in its own right and might not correspond with any previously established dates. Although I have a bet going that it'll be on 11:11.

10/25 is special because 413+612=1025. It was an arc number all through act 5 act 2 and it was also when Alterniabound (Karkat: Wake Up) happened.

Ah, I seem to have mistaken correlation with causation. Cascade hapened on 10/25 because it was already significant, rather then things being on 10/25 because of Cascade. Also, 11:11 is also sort of an arc number in act 6, now that I think about it. So there's another possibility.
