Alright then, time to shove the hopeful date of the end from 4/13 to 6/12.

Also, discussion-wise, how should the final update be handled? I'm assuming most will just avoid everything until they're finished.

Every dwarf, every dwarven man, women, and child, that comes to our forts will die there; it's truly sad when you think about it. And we ask our selves, why? Why do we push forward, knowing this fate, that we are destined for failure? Because, this game grasps the concept of mortality. Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.

Why would you do anything else other than binge the hell out of it.

So, have you guys heard about the Overseer Project yet? It's a text-based Homestuck RPG, where you do stuff like kill underlings and alchemize things.

I've always been wondering why nobody thought about making a text-based or ASCII Homestuck game. Most of them seem to fall through at the sprite drawing stage, so it only seems natural.

You have to start a session, then try to play the session. I have started a session, but I haven't done much yet.

Me gatleos FFS apples and dex had a session but that game was so young and in beta we kinda just left.

I think Dex made like 90% of the art in there though.
