Think of it like Sim City, except with rival mayors that seek to destroy your citizens by arming legions of homeless people and sending them to attack you.

Possible update; the site isn't loading.

[Edit] Nope. Wonder why it was being slow.

Doesn't look like it.

Related to the imgur potato I linked up there:

Wow this is weird. A character interacting with other characters in person, with people they actually know AND we, the audience, actually know. It only took a squashed space dog and a molesting purple clown but this might be the closest thing Homestuck comes to normal interaction.

Nah, we had that during all the Act 6 intermissions already. This is significantly weirder than Ouijadick.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I want everybody at home to read this sentence out loud. Just to let it sink in.

That I'm allowed to type sentences like that is one of the reasons I love Homestuck.

If Jake can believe hard enough, imaginary Dirk will become real.
Well look who was right.

Also, from Oz to Princess Bride? I'd complain about fairy tales not being real, but considering the circumstances...

I think the feat Dirk describes is impossible at this point. But it makes for a badass referantial one-liner. Three-liner. Whatever

... Despite all the issues that Dirk x Jake had, this makes me happy.  Princess Bride and Strider Stride overcome all issues, at least for a time...

I never really supported Jake x Dirk because, well, Jake doesn't seem to be the correct sexuality for it to work.

Every dwarf, every dwarven man, women, and child, that comes to our forts will die there; it's truly sad when you think about it. And we ask our selves, why? Why do we push forward, knowing this fate, that we are destined for failure? Because, this game grasps the concept of mortality. Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.

I support all ships.
Yes, even the ones that are mutually exclusive or involve characters that have never met.
