Although this means Aranea can never allow herself to die, lest she be chased through the afterlife by a jackel-headed space which.

It's safe to assume that the batterwitch cannot influence those within the dream bubbles.

I think Max meant Jade, actually.

Also, I'm starting to think adding Goddammit Gamzee to my sig might be easier than typing it out whenever he appears in an update.

It would save you a lot of effort.

If Aranea mind powers can work from the dream bubbles out, why wouldn't Condy mind powers work going in?

You don't think Jade would want to beat the snot out of her, perhaps even double kill her for what she did?

Because it's possible that she isn't aware that dream bubbles are a thing?

Evil Jade would. Normal Jade? Not so petty and vindictive, methinks.

Oh please, normal Jade was totally petty and vindictive. Did you see the shit she put Karkat through? Wow I mean really.

Besides, even if she was mind controlled at the time, Aranea did kill her.  An eye for an eye isn't exactly unconventional here.

Really? There's been more vindictive people who got killed with less good reasons, and other than Aradia and Kanaya they didn't make any effort to get back at their killers. And those two cases were major cases of douchebaggery.

guys, thing is, jade doesn't even know that aranea killed her.
she was KO'd when she was Homestruck.

Not to mention that if I would guess she wouldn't really have any memory of being mind-controlled, so in her perspective she just teleported Union Jack away and then suddenly died.

Good question... Sollux and Gamzee don't seem to remember their time being mind-controlled.  Tavros seems to remember the times that Vriska controls him, but since she's usually doing it to make a point, that could be her decision.  Also he might not know that she stole that kiss.

Now the question still stands, can she actually mind control humans, or just make them fall asleep?
