Every variable is an alternate universe version of each other variable - from the universes in which those variables are that variable.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I'm never going to stop loving Arquius. I might even start cosplaying him instead of Equius, if I can figure out the ghost butt.

With all the cool Homestuck avatars in this thread, I think I need to get me one.  Preferably one that menaces with spikes of madness.

Which reminds me, I've figured out the pattern in the mythological roles, allowing me to determine the roles of the four remaining heroes.  Unfortunately my notes are at home, but IIRC, they went like this:

1. Sylph of Blood
2. Thief of Mind
3. Mage of Rage
4. Bard of Doom

Judging from their actions, it seems to me that they could well be the Post Mistress, Spades Slick, the Sovereign Slayer, and Jack Noir (B2), respectively.

I have no idea how/whether they are going to god tier, though.

These are the known aspects and classes we have no human players for, but why did you pair them up this exact way?

When you compare the A1 and A2 sessions' class/aspect pairings, there are certain known loops.  I compared the union of the B sessions' pairing sets with both of the A sessions and found the existing and broken loops.

I remember being stuck at that point for a while and having a sudden flash of inspiration that allowed me to solve it.  I'll have to look at my notes again and think a bit to remember what it was, because that was a few weeks ago.  Maybe I managed to link the aspects and classes to sides of two rotating d12s?

EDIT:  There was also something about the double-reach-around causing one of the dice to get mirrored, I think.

Observation: All the heroes of Time use red text, Caliborn is associated with red and Time is red on red.  All the heroes of Space use green text, Calliope is associated with green, all teleportation effects are green, and there is the green sun, but Space is white on black.  However, Doom is black on green, Calliope was doomed to die before the start of her session, and all confirmed heroes of Doom had telekinesis, which seems to connect space and time.  White on black would make sense for Doom, because skulls are white.

Hypothesis: The death of Calliope caused Space and Doom to get a bit mixed up.

Experiment: Use John's ability to travel outside of time and space to prevent Calliope's death, and see whether this affects the natures of Space and Doom.

Conclusion: We would first need to create Sburb before we can perform this experiment.

EDIT: Also, all first guardians (Doc Scratch, Becquerel and Gcat) have Space powers, and both Doc Scratch and Becquerel have been annihilated.  Their white and green color might then also indicate the link between Space and Doom.

Time ends all things explicitly, and Space protects all things implicitly, so Calliope's death hasn't really stopped her from fulfilling her role.  Her death also inspired the massive search through all of space.

So maybe my experiment is a bad idea. ;)
