Welp,

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

EDIT: Right before the update, I was going to say this: I finally realized why the eyes of the dead are white. Eyes are the window to the soul. How can you see the soul in the eyes when the body is the soul?

Every dwarf, every dwarven man, women, and child, that comes to our forts will die there; it's truly sad when you think about it. And we ask our selves, why? Why do we push forward, knowing this fate, that we are destined for failure? Because, this game grasps the concept of mortality. Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.

Dang, John. If I shouted no that much my throat would be sore. Dude's got some nice lungs and vocal cords. Probably comes with the whole "Heir of Breath" thing

Spoiler: Nothing certain (click to show/hide)

I look forward to a week of focus on Karkat's corpse while Hussie goes on a con-hiatus.

It doesn't make me feel very confident when Hussie is mentioning working on the end animation...

And I'm just at the "end of year 2" part. Which means that I still have +- 2 years to catch up on.

And Karkat is better now!

Imagine that, something they said would happen actually happened.

Or as he zaps out of there.

Or, John is zapped by Jade.

Either way, he's not getting caught.

I'm still curious if he can voluntarily use the weapon. So far I'm leaning towards, "Yes."
