I started reading near the end of Problem Sleuth. This makes me an old fart in MSPA years.

I remember thinking that a meteor heading towards John's house was really dumb and kind of rash from a storytelling perspective. And then John and his house went into the Medium, which looked a lot like a formless void area, and then the sprite split which is something that was completely forgotten about for the rest of the comic.

Homestuck was interesting to watch before all its ideas were hammered out.

Which probably happened right around the time giant snake sex happened.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I got into Homestuck a little before Cascade. I finished up the archive just in time to experience the Hiatus.

Man what??? The HSRPG started way before Cascade, unless I remember wrong :P

I don't.... Think so? I dunno, my perception of time and my memory are both terrible. High School is a total blur despite a conspicuous absence of drugs and alcohol.

I got caught up the first time when Sollux and Terezi were watching baby Dave.

and then the sprite split which is something that was completely forgotten about for the rest of the comic.
I just don't think it ever came up again? We didn't see the trolls enter with any sort of detail, and the Alpha Kid's Sprites weren't prototyped so they wouldn't split (and even if they did the kernels wouldn't have anywhere to go since there were no prototyping towers).

Goddamn, you're right.

I mean... seriously? Cascade was put up in Octor 2011!? That's like, almost a year and a half ago. How did that happen? I mean... I remember it almost like it was yesterday.

Well, it seems to be confession time here, doesn't it?
I think I should admit it now: I never read Homestuck. Truth is, I can't even read. Or understand English. Or use a computer.

Truth is, I was a coathanger glued to a broomstick all along.

This explains a lot, doesn't it?

I got into MSPA in the first half of PS. I didn't think that was unusually early, but apparently it is.

I stumbled into MSPA roughly October 2010. Right around when Flighty broads started fucking with their horseshitometers.
And Vriska was a character of significance.

I started Homestuck back when Hivebent was still in it's early stages. So that was, what, back in 2010? I've been reading for nearly three years. It doesn't feel that long.

I started reading right... about... here.

I caught up right here.

It was fucking serendipity.

Forevers ago I checked to see what the big deal was around A5P1. Started reading during the fight between Vriska/Terezi. So, maybe 2 1/2 years?

I'm really late. I think by the time I started Roxy was already introduced.

I think I started... before Davesprite I know that much.  Can't remember any further back than that.
