And the house might just have been symbolism/simultaneous coincidence. After all, it was a green sun type flash of light teleporting them in, so we can assume that it was Jade; since if it was the juju then it would probably be a white or blue flash.

HIC wouldn't have much to gain from killing the meteor folk! Remember that Roxy is protecting the entire session from scrying by Lord English, so HIC can act semi-independently. Jade probably teleported them. The reason HIC is doing what she's doing is because she don't take no shit from no kids; they do what she wants!
