Oh hey, I just found the Boner Button.
Is this symbolic of something?

My feelings for Nic Cage are symbolized... by a penis?

It's not a very complex symbol.

And yet disturbingly appropriate.

Yeah, the whole situation of them leaving just suggests getting killed the instant they leave, and I like the trolls- I'm attached to them. Sollux, Feferi, and Nepeta more than Tavros, but still.

Tavros leaving and double dying is the best thing that could possibly happen.

Fef and Nep leaving, less so. But, they haven't been saying anything, it doesn't really matter I suppose.

Why do you hate Tavros's new found confidence?  :(

The only thing Tavros has done with his 'confidence' is be rude and unhelpful. Plus, he has always irritated me with his loser ways.

Well, rude and unhelpful to Vriska.
Not like she is ever like that.  ::)

Style goes a long way. And to say nothing else, at least Vriska is being productive.

I like Vriska, but she is terrible.
Productive is honestly debatable, this could of just been a senseless sacrifice of ghosts.

Each troll can be said to embody an aspect of human existence, since they are the gods of Earth.  Insecure passive obedience is an integral part of humanity.  I've fondly called my patron troll the god of losers, but that isn't right.  He is the god of sidekicks, and employees, and servants.  The patron of those who trust in leaders.  This fits his role as a page.

Still, this latest development doesn't bother me.  A passive person doesn't have to serve just anyone.  They have a responsibilty to find a good leader, who will lead in a direction they agree with.  Tavros has realized that Vriska is not someone he wants to serve anymore, no matter how charismatic and forceful she is.

I cautiously hope that he doesn't (double)die just yet, because he still needs to provide someone with breath.  He hasn't yet fulfilled his class-given challenge, at all.  I don't know who he will assist, if anyone, but I hope he somehow helps resurrect Calliope.
