Don't you mean Troll Beta (Troll Pre-Scratch) ======> Troll Alpha (Troll Post-Scratch) ==> Kids Beta (Human Pre-Scratch) ==> Kids Alpha (Human Post-Scratch) ?

There's no indication that the trolls played beta or alpha--in fact, as far as I know, it's just Sgrub.

Thanks, I mistyped despite having just looked at
http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=006512

So the human universes are labelled B, and the troll ones are labelled A.
Not to be confused with Alpha and Beta, which seems connected to scratching.  Beta being before scratch, Alpha being *after*.

THIS IS STUPID

Thanks for writing it out like that Zergling.

It was called Sgrub Alpha. While we have no idea what version of the game the A1 trolls were playing, it's a safe bet that it was a beta.

All mentions of Sgrub are completely without modifier and all mentions of Alpha refer to the timeline and not Sgrub (in act 5, that is).

Remember, Sollux kind of did program Sgrub.

Mind you, I'm currently busy with homework so I'm unable to do any research from any source other than my arse.

Maybe Sgrub was a finished product.  It's the only instance successfully completed, after all.  Then flawed Sburb Beta, followed by the woefully incomplete Sburb Alpha.

Caliborn + Hussie is just a boardroom meeting with the lead developer.

The Squiddle Session is the promised and eternally postponed sequel.

Isn't the Squiddle Session already going on and the god-tier (/something that comes after that?) players just happen to be floating around the furthest ring?

/making it, I guess.

Remember that him and Feferi were a thing for a while?

Sollux having game isn't exactly a new thing.

That had a bit of paradox impetus going for it though, didn't it?  Condesce and whatever was between Sollux and Twitchy had the thing, too, to a certain degree, iirc.

Just saying there's a bit of a stretch between 'im and Fef's thing and "Ladies", followed by being carried off into the sky. I think.
