Poor Jane. The sound of a crowbar is the last thing you need when coming down off a candy trip.

Just about to post about hussie on the seahorse in space at the bottom.

A weirder sentance I have never said.

Hussie, you could not have fucked up this two-page gimmick more if you had tried.  You have no idea how php works do you?  Anyway, interesting reconciliation and backpeddling going on there in the 'narrative window', and we better not see that shit again for at a least a month or two.  Way too strong a vibe from the Scratch Intermission.

Trickster mode did dual duty as a way to get the kids to their quest beds while also being a cautionary tale against Deus ex Machina.

It was Deus ex Machina, ironically.

I have to disagree. It was exactly the kind of longwinded and heavyhanded explanation that destroys any semblance of a point that the whole trickster intermission had, and Hussie's feelings on it were already made abundantly clear by Dirk's feelings on it. The worst part was, none of that "the journey is more important than the destination stuff" was news to anybody but Caliborn, but instead of use the opportunity for actual humor he gave us a trite and boring text wall.

Y'know, I only really noticed it now, but Drik's hair is completely messed up now.

If he wasn't about to get a make-over, this would be the perfect opportunity for him to don a hat.

The Aq came back.

I found the Hussie wall interesting, but that is because the idea of metafiction appeals to me. I like seeing themes discussed almost as much as discussing them myself. And the fact that the weird-ass perspective of Caliborn is being tossed in is just icing on the cake.

In other news, this hangover is apparently so powerful that it erased Dirk and Jake's tattoos.

I didn't bother reading the narrative prompt and Caliborn arguing with each other. I got annoyed about five lines in and decided I had better things to do.

Is there anything I missed that I will actually miss?
