Hmm... The drawing is all in Right angles, you say? I have the strangest feeling that that has to do with the fact that Caliborn and the entire planet were sucked up by the Kernalsprite.

Possibly, but that's how Caliborn's drawn things since before he Entered so there would be some weird time shenanigans going on. I think it might just be his learning disability.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Scratch doesn't lie, but if you draw erroneous conclusions, that surely isn't his fault, is it?

To quote Scratch himself:

Quote
You have written a story about the truth, making emotional demands of it, and in particular, of those in possession of it.
Your demands are based on a feeling of entitlement to the facts, which is very childish. You can never know all of the facts. Only I can.

I'm not seeing the nihilism, to be honest. Vengeance, sure, what with Grandma Jade's death. Angels and hope, definitely. Nihilism, not so much. That'd be pretty damn diabolical of Hussie, though, so I won't discount it as a possibility.

Yeah, the Doc Scratch quote sounds like Eridan (angels, venegance, prince of light, etc.), but if Hussie wanted to, he could.

Eh, I'm not the best with remembering the classes. Especially the alpha kids. And, I misread the post I read from.

EDIT: Caliborn is a Lord. Lord. Lord English. I knew that's who he becomes, but I still didn't see that correlation. I feel tricked now.

Wait... What if, we encounter yet another session. Who/what gets prototyped this time? Jake and caliborn. And so, Lord English is created.
