Man, that song has been out for two years. In fact, it was actually used as Equius' theme in his walkaround. Alexander Rosetti composed it, IIRC, and he also composed Courser on the same album, volume 6, which Jade: Enter's music, Umbral Ultimatum, is based on. I think that took some cues as well.

He also has a solo album out. It's the latest one on homestuck.bandcamp.com.

Horschestra, said song, is 4:13 in length. It's volume 6's song 12. It is the most important song in Homestuck.

I don't really follow the Homestuck music scene much, I just noticed the blatantly Uematsu-esque arpeggios. I remember Courser though, and that always reminded me more of Mitsuda's stuff from Chrono Trigger, particularly the interaction of the background polyrhythms with the melody.

You're right though, I had completely forgotten it was used in that flash.

And just in case we forgot about Caliborn's misogyny, Hussie decided to remind us. So, Caliborn's decided to help Jake obtain his potential so he can be a proper opponent. This is similar to what Vriska did with Jack, and kinda like her mentoring John. Considering he read Calliope's texts, that's probably where he got the idea from.

And, damn, that art really is getting better. Especially since he's just making tons of right angles. That's actually kind of impressive.
