Wow. I cannot believe absolutely nothing of interest happened in the 120-something days that the flash took place over.

Nothing we haven't seen in acts 1-5, more than likely, at least when it comes to sburb shenanigans.

I'm sure that plenty of interesting things happened, but not necessarily important things.

What you mean the thing with the noble gases?
I assumed because nobody was talking about it, it was old news.

Yeah, I think some of the fans figured it out a little after the Myst style flash.

Yes, I believe we had everything called correctly within a day of the first one, except everyone (myself included) thought Mausoleums instead of Mounds.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Yeah. Then Vriska mentioned "ancient crypts, networks of 8urial mounds, dusty old tom8s, giant pyramids" and that was that.

Well I totally missed that. Still loving the new lands, though. There seems to be a theme of kids goofing around with radioactive materials carelessly, though, all the way back to Jane's uranium stuff.

I don't think any of the noble gasses their planets have are radioactive...

Yea, all those gasses are pretty much safe. You can even breath them in without worry. The only potential problem would be lack of oxygen, thus the masks?

I doubt the scientists who first decided to call them noble gasses were thinking of dwarven nobles, but it still fits. Laziest bastards on the periodic table. "Hey helium you want to go react with me--" "no fuck you go away I'm just going to float here"

Huh, I could have sworn Xenon at least was radioactive, but I guess the noble gases as they occur in nature are fairly inert.

Radon's the radioactive one.

It's also the only radioactive element that's a gas at room temperature.
