Yeah, and Alterniabound's for that matter, being the same day.  I kinda figured the walkaround was going to take the place of anything more substantial.  Like Hussie whined, it took as long to make that as it did Cascade, so it's not like he's specifically obligated to do anything special.

I was hoping it'd be something a little more interesting than working out his Gamzee a bit longer, but I'll take it.

He's saying that the people who patronise and insult people they pretend to be trying to help are trying to help people, and it is also implied that they do not patronise, insult nor pretend. Ridiculing social justice bloggers will make it more difficult for the bloggers to make the world better. >:]

 Sorry, guys, but this whole situation doesn't make any dang sense. First date flutters account for drinking and losing the time, but not for completely failing to plan anything at all. Especially for a character that has been planning things for most of the comic. Rose is not a character that goes "Welp guess I'll just go with the flow". She's in cahoots with Gamzee.

 Which is a perfect setup for her auspisticing Gamzee and Kanaya, hinted at by her interest in the quadrants and her conversation with Gamzee on how Kanaya plans on killing him.

Maybe the reason she was drinking is that she couldn't think of anything to do. She was trying to increase her Imagination stat.
