I wonder if Dead Jade was friends with the ancestor trolls?

That'd be a weird meeting. "Hey you're Jade right? We met you already, kinda. You were dead, like us!"

Heck, maybe LE's ghost-murder wasn't evil after all - all those ghosts may have been done with their post-life wrap-up and were ready to actually stop existing!  Due to time being subjective here they could take as long as they wanted without being late for their annihilation.

(If I wish hard enough that everything's cool, that makes it slightly more true!)

Huh. You know, that sounds almost plausible. Maybe the ghosts even knew that LE was coming, and they gathered to that one bubble to be destroyed? I imagine a fanfic with that premise. A bunch of dead kids deciding they've unlived long enough and summoning Lord English to end their existence.

A bunch of dead kids, forming a cult to summon a universe-destroying demon to sacrifice themselves to it.

I think that's a new premise.

I have this crazy theory that LE, for all his evil douchiness, isn't actually the antagonist, and the horrorterrors are. The whole comic, including LE's creation, is going to have been masterminded by the kids and trolls (maybe just Vriska) to ensure that they wind up in the timeline they wind up in (the one with LE in it), who conveniently destroys all the infinite horrorterrors (thereby thwarting whatever diabolical scheme they're up to) just in time for the protagonists to glitch him to death and realize they need to take action to make sure that the things that just happened happen. Why else would Hussie have had grimdark trigger on asking if the horrorterrors were evil (and then never bring it up again)?

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Actually, Doc Scratch did say that LE's rampage was sanctified by paradox space, whereas Jack's wasn't. Now I'm not sure how much of that was implied BS, but overall it seems to imply that either LE is not the absolute Big Bad, or paradox space is one hell of a sonova.

I don't remember where this was brought up, but one thing we know about the Horrorterrors is that they have some deal with Skaia in regards to the players, the game and the resulting universe being born. The rules were decided between the two entities.

On this note, I also have to wonder who "the master we all serve" is.

Coming from Aradia, I would assume LE.

While LE is a possibility, I'm personally thinking she's talking about Paradox Space. She brought it up in regards to doomed time clones I recall it being implied somewhere that Paradox Space is what causes people who leave doomed timelines to be doomed. Plus, Aranea has stated that PSpace causes non alpha timelines to be doomed and that it uses those who play the game to continue propagating itself, which would make it the master that all players serve.

Seems like paradox space, but then Dave sarcastically asks
TG: so
TG: im just one dead dave offered up to the time god

So maybe LE the Lord of Time is the reason paradox space is so kill-happy with Heroes of Time.

Homestuck is secretly a sequel in which Problem Sleuth has ascended to omnipotence and is, in fact, the universe. Also he turned evil.

Though it still seems odd to me to personify Paradox Space by referring to it as a master to be served, it's not exactly impossible or even really that improbable.

Paradox Space is actually a sentient, unfathomably large pond, within which every universe frog resides.
