I have felt like John before. Not as the only fully human person on a battle ship traveling at c, but when an established couple in your circle of friends breaks up... well, there is going to be a lot of debris. In the best case.
Then add the protective instincts John may have developed towards his biological sister; is it really strange if he is a little pissed at Davesprite?

I think John is not snapping...yet. He was always one of the painfully direct, not exactly polite sort and he is asking questions we all want to ask(well, Davesprite's ghost butt isn't really of greater interest to me, but WHAT THE HELL IS A SPRITE? WHAT ARE THEY MADE OF? HOW DO THEY WORK? Answering that with "Game construct, duh" does not help, since just about everything in Homestuck is a game construct.[Except maybe The Narrator? And I don't think Lil Cal even is from that multiverse...])
