I... never really thought about it that way. I mean, I've always knew that Understanding Homestuck was quite a feat, but I didn't think that that challenge is what keep me reading it.

That's totally my new "Let me tell you about homestuck" video.
The effort justification is so true... applies to Dwarf Fortress as well.  But even after taking it into account, I agree with the PBS guy: Homestuck is worth it.  Even Act 1.  (It still drive people away, though.)

That is a very interesting way to think about Homestuck. So the difficulty of understanding the story is making us enjoy its good parts all the more, very interesting. Thanks for the link man, because that is pretty cool.
