In order to destroy Lord English once and for all, WE, the READERS, must be destroyed. WE are the link that tethers Lord English, for our viewing turns a series of events into a story, and all stories must have a villain. To make the unkillable killable, the myth and the fable must be stripped away, leaving only a creature where once a penultimate villain stood. Only our sacrifice will enable his ultimate destruction. It will be a tearful goodbye, and one with many uncertainties. We will not be able to see the final confrontation between the players we've come to love and the dreaded demon, but we must have faith that our sacrifice will not be in vain, and that the young players we've come to grow alongside have the strength and the strong bonds to overcome their challenges, and live on.
