To be contrary I went through the Karkat door as Maryam, but still show up as Meena in the Aranea dialogue.  I'm not complaining.  Kankri was amazing, I read nearly every word of his out loud.  So terrible, so excellent.

Maryam uses o+ because her thing is feminism and it's the symbol for female (and Venus, yeah) but I agree with the O+ meaning blood type.  Being type O+ would suck for a vampire (I mean rainbowdrinker) because they could only drink type O blood, while an AB+ one could drink from anyone.  Maybe this means she's after some special someone's blood... or that she's able to "help" everyone (anyone can accept type O blood).
