Vriska and Tavros are almost certainly still alive. I hope that is true for some other alphatrolls too.

How exactly did the Kernelsprite turn into a black hole? Did Caliborn simply decide to prototype the sun? Because that has to be a game breaker, somehow.

So, I grabbed the flash and started poking through it, and found this.

Looks pretty Earth-y to me, but I don't really see any landmasses I recognize.  This was the planet that showed up for a few seconds, just before the black hole absorbed it.

Also, new theory:  Cal didn't survive the black hole thing.  The cueball effect covers/overrides the white-eyes effect, and if he is killed he just respawns in a dreambubble.  The wand/duedly firearm is the only thing cabable of permakilling dead selves, which is a fact just revealed to us in the most tragic manner possible.
