I only knew because it was the name of his tumblr. But yes, it's amazing that nobody spoiled the surprise for him.

Oh, man, you guys made me go back through that whole blog, searching for when he got started. Then I found this gem:

Quote from: rufio
Anyhow… thanks for all the messages, I appreciate hearing from everyone, although as far as Homestuck goes, I half feel like you guys are setting me up for some big practical joke and after hours of reading this thing I’m going to click onto the next page and jack-in-the-box is going to pop out of the screen of my computer saying, “Got you!”

How little you knew, Dante! How little you knew.

Wait, so who's this Zuko thing everyone's talking about?
Is it a character Dante has acted? Because the only thing Google throws at me is a character from that one overrated anime with the magical guy with the forehead tattoos and whoops this really isn't conducive to the question.

So yeah, what film was he acting in?

People are talking about another one though.
Where he played a Zuko. Google gives me no films relating to it. So yeah.

No, that's entirely conducive. I believe he's that guy's voice actor.

And of course, he's Hook's Rufio.

Yeah. From Avatar.

You got it right.

He's from the show you found.

Congratulations.

You can stop asking.

That's an absolutely bloody retarded argument that has no place in this thread. You can go argue over that in western animation/anime threads if you want.

So how about them homestucks, eh?

I tell you, Dave's face just made that last update.

(there's no update, I'm talking about the one where he makes the face, in case anyone sees the word update and goes running off to check)

The last time I read, I got up to when the trolls were introduced.

The real annoying part is mainly that Homestuck is EXTREMELY heavy on foreshadowing, so you pretty much have to go back and re-read or you'll get lost entirely.

I don't see how that's annoying. /has re-read some 10 times*cough*

I just... sorta remember most things. Yeah, I miss little details and things like conversation callbacks, but they're not really crucial.

Indeed. While rereading is essential if you want to get the most out of it, it's hardly a requirement.

People always go back and point out the littlest things for me anyways. There's always a post somewhere mentioning every obscure callback.

True. Some people have even less of a life than me. Which is really saying something.
